What has been done to fix the new payroll system?

0

The first pay run from the new payroll system occurred on 24 March. Various system and performance issues were identified during the first two pay cycles. These issues, combined with a shorter than normal processing time due to changeover to the new system, caused an adjustment backlog. The Payroll Stabilisation Project team commenced on 19 April and is being assisted by KPMG. KPMG are a specialist group external to Queensland Health, commissioned by the Premier, to help identify and solve the payroll problems staff are experiencing.
