Sounds can be positioned and setup in rtre without any soundcard at all, although of course the sound cannot be heard without sound hardware. We recommend that you use at least a card with stereo output so you can preview the sound while you are producing it. If at all possible, use a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz soundcard as this has the Sensaura 3DPA positional sound capability.
