Acrylic is the generic name, with brand names such as plexiglass, Lucite, acrylite. We use a “non-glare” acrylic versus a true clear picture frame acrylic, as it eliminates excessive glare when viewing posters from a distance. The non-glare is fabricated with a very subtle matte frosting on the surface of the acrylic, but designed so that fine print can still be read clearly.
