What hard to learn java or visual basic?
Hello, I am a programmer both on VB.Net and Java. With regards to your question whether which one is hard (or harder) to learn – I believe depends on the context. It also is dependent on the learning capability of the individual. Which means that if you have a high APTITUDE (and IQ) for following deep logic (or perhaps a genius) then both languages are NEVER hard to learn. Both languages have different purposes and if you use/apply it accordingly – you’d reap full benefits. Visual Basic’s paradigm is Event-Driven and is the most widely used business programming language – especially with the rise of Visual Basic.NET. If you are to develop in-house application programs with heavy use of Graphics (GUI’s) and Web Interfacing – then VB is very strong on this. It is limited only in the sense that the Operating System must be Microsoft Windows. Java on the other hand is an Object-Oriented programming (OOP) language.
