Authorization can be provided through the application process for LostStones.com to provide stone status information of insured stones to the insurance company of record. Therefore, if a stone is recovered, this information will be provided to the insurance company. Please note, it is the stone owners responsibility to update the status of any recovered stones and to follow up with the insurance company. LostStones.com does not intercede in the business relationship between the insurer and the insured. The policy requirements should be strictly followed in the event of stone recovery.
