What happens when you cross the separation of church and state with a group of cheerleaders and HUGE Jesus signs?
A pointless struggle— At least, that’s the reality of the situation. But the city, the majority of its residents, and even the superintendent of schools are in a haze of utter stupidity. The city: Fort Oglethorpe, GA, specifically Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe public High School. Setting: Football game. The sign–a staggering 20 feet long and 40 feet tall– is held up by the (public school) cheer leaders, on large wooden sticks.
