What happens when there is a breakdown or service/MoT etc. is needed, presumably you deal with it but at whose cost?

We will cover the cost of transporting the car to our workshop but the cost of repair would be borne by you. Minor faults will be repaired free of charge as a matter of course. The car can be ‘sworn off road’ while it is with us so that it no longer needs an MOT certificate. Once a car is sold, we will usually service & MOT it prior to delivery and cover the cost from our fees. We wouldn’t service or MOT the car otherwise unless you requested it and paid for the work. Sometimes the cost of getting the car through an MOT can be prohibitive and in this instance we would expect to share the cost with you in order to continue with the sale. Obviously we can’t spend £10,000 pounds on an MOT if we are only making £3,000 from the sale. Common sense really.
