What happens when the Share pays a dividend?

0

If you hold a Long Position, you will receive any ordinary dividends paid on the Shares (including any franking credits to which you are entitled) in a similar manner to if you held the Shares outside of your Macquarie Prime Facility. If you hold a Short Position in Shares on the close of business on the day prior to the ex-dividend date, you must pay an amount equal to the cash dividend paid on those Shares to us. In certain limited circumstances you may also have to pay the cash value of any franking credits. Please refer to the PDS for more details. If a position has a GSL or Stop-Loss order over the ex-dividend date of the underlying security, the GSL Level is adjusted by the amount of the cash dividend.
