What happens when someone returns from a Leave of Absence or military leave during the furlough period?
Upon return from a leave of absence, employees will take two days a month for the duration of the furlough period (until June 30, 2010). An employee returning mid-month would pro-rate their furlough time to take one furlough day for every ten working days. Each leave will be reviewed by payroll and reconciled on a case-by-case basis.
