What Happens When Postal Rates Change?
Neopost will automatically send all customers who are affected a letter advising of the forthcoming rate changes. You will receive either a Rate Chip through the post, or you will be able to access a Rate Chip download file a few days before the changes are due to take place. The rates will automatically update on the effective date, not before. You have the option to refuse the new postal rates as some customers only use basic rates, i.e 1st and 2nd class inland mail. Some changes to postal rates will only affect certain services, such as International Airmail. Neopost helps customers streamline operations by providing Rate Change Protection. For a single annual payment, Rate Change Protection can provide you with cover for all Royal Mail or Parcelforce rate changes throughout the year, during the contract period / term.
