What happens when one of FireServes transmitter sites take a lightning strike?

0

Our transmitters have extensive lightning protection, just like other radio broadcast transmitters. Our systems should continue to operate through lightning storms, but it’s always possible a large strike could disrupt power or damage some of our equipment (transmit antennas in particular)). We stock enough replacement parts to completely rebuild any of our transmitter sites if this occurs. Assuming that power is still online, we should have damaged transmitters back online within a few hours.
