What happens when nobody reviews or authorizes a time card?

0

Reviewing a time card is optional. However, the time card for a non-exempt employee must be authorized before it can be paid. It is incumbent on the supervisor or his or her authorizing agents to ensure the time card is authorized. In the event payroll finds an unauthorized time card, they will contact some one to authorize it. If no one is available, the employee will not be paid, per UCAR policy.
