What happens when Marching Band season is over?
Once football season (sometime in October, unless the football team makes regionals) and competition season (late November) are over, Marching Band season is also over. However, zero hour classes continue until the end of the semester (mid-December) and band members are required to still attend zero hour class. The Marching Band has performed in the Oro Valley Holiday Parade in December and occasionally performs in the Rodeo Parade in Tucson held in February. The parent organization holds an annual end-of-year banquet, usually in May, to honor the seniors, award all band members (Colorguard included) with their athletic letters, and thank the volunteers and supporters of the Vanguard. Family members are encouraged to attend the festivities.
