What happens when license exempt frequency interference happens in the relief areas?
A1. The rules have not changed. License Exempt frequency usage is based upon two most fundamental guidelines under Part 15 of the Telecommunications Act and those are: (1) Must not cause harmful interference to licensed operators and (2) Must accept any and all interference. A2. A problem first identified by PART-15.ORGs staff early in our relief efforts was that many Non-WISPs are now using License Exempt spectrum.
