You are given a grade of “W” for that class. At the end of the semester, the instructor will complete the grade by adding either a “P” for passing or an “F” for failing. The results on the transcript will be a “W” or a “WF” respectively. A “W” grade does not affect the GPA. However, the “WF” grade IS figured into the GPA as if it were an “F” grade.
