What happens when I charge a fighter that is already 'down'?
The fighter is automatically taken out-of-action at the start of the HTH phase. This means that you must move your fighter to get to the down fighter, must spend your entire turn doing nothing else, then, at the start of the HTH phase the fighter is taken out-of-action, and then your fighter may take its follow-up move. In addition, since the fighter was already down you do not get a wounding hit experience award either.
