What happens when children dont get education in poor countries?
The girls get pregnant or get married, often at young ages. Sometimes they are sold into prostitution by their families. In Africa, they often have large families, do most of the farmwork (because the men don’t do it), and then get passed on to a brother-in-law if their husband dies. The boys do the same jobs their fathers did or get whatever job they can find or go into the military. They work for whatever small wages they can get at whatever job they can get. Education is only available for the boys (in some Middle Eastern locations) or only for the wealthy in Africa where education is not free. Many of them are raised in poverty and live in poverty all their lives. If they get the opportunity to move to a more developed country like England, France, Germany or the U.S., it can boost the standard of living for their whole family because the money they send home goes a lot farther in their home countries.
