What happens when an Affirm module becomes “dead”?
This is caused by the battery going dead. The battery cannot be replaced. Once an Affirm module is “dead” and unresponsive to reading, dispose of it properly and replace it with a new Affirm smart module. By assigning a new module to a patient you lose the latest month of compliance history but can resume your monitoring program.
