What happens when a student loses their campus card that is linked to a bank account?
All cardholders must report a lost or stolen card to the campus card office to deactivate the campus functions and to be issued a new card. If the cardholder is a U.S. Bank customer, they must also report a lost or stolen campus card to U.S. Bank. The school will have no liability for fraudulent use or overdrafts arising from campus card transactions. Additionally, Maxx Cards are protected by the U.S. Bank Zero Liability Policy2, which means that cardholders will not be held responsible for any unauthorized non-PIN purchases as long as the card is reported missing right away.
