What happens when a prospective students academic records are in a language other than English or French?
A. Applicants must arrange for the submission of official LITERAL English translations of all records. If the transcript does/will not clearly state that a degree has been conferred, applicants must submit an official degree certificate with name of degree and date of degree conferral, in original language and literal English translation. Interpretive translations, as opposed to literal translations, sometimes misinterpret or mislabel credential names or degree standings to improve an applicant’s chance of getting admitted. What we look for is a literal translation, word for word, grade by grade, line by line.
