What happens when a late start is announced?
APS policy EBCE and regulation EBCE-1-R state the superintendent may announce a late-start schedule for the opening of schools based on weather or other emergency conditions. Students at all levels will be on a one-hour delayed start time. Students will report to bus stops one hour later than original pick-up times. End-of-day student bell schedules remain the same during delayed start days.
