What happens when a departmental organisation changes?
As with the initial assignment of organisations, changes of this type must be made known to IT Services. There will be no automatic change mechanism available to users. Such changes may have an impact on a large number of existing registrations and there will need to be a clear understanding of how these are to be handled. [There is also the alternative of leaving devices with the old organisation name, but withdrawing this from the registration/re-registration options. This would force migration of all devices within a 3 year period.
