Yes sadly the mother must deliver this baby. The doctors will most likely try a natural labor first, but if she does not go into labor within a few days of the baby dying they will most likely induce her with Pitocin. Yes all labor hurts terribly. They most likely will not do a ceserean unless something bad happens during labor or the baby refuses to come out. Shortly after birth the mother will be given a chance to hold the baby. She will have to name it and yes the baby will have a funeral and be burried.
