What happens upon arrival at Athens Intl. Airport?
On Arrivals Day, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., a CYA representative will meet you at the airport once you have retrieved your bags and cleared customs and passport control. Our rep will give you the keys to your apartment as well as your address, and will assist you in getting a taxi and directing the taxi where to go. You may ride with other students if they are going to the same building/street. You are responsible for taxi fare (you should expect to pay about 35 Euros). You can exchange money at the airport or use the ATM, although CYA advises bringing about 50 Euros with you just in case.
