What happens to trespassers on Territorial Lands?
Persons who, in the opinion of the Minister, wrongfully or without legal authority use, possess or occupy territorial land are subject to removal under Section 20 of the Territorial Lands Act. They are also subject to a fine and/or imprisonment if they fail to vacate the land after being ordered to do so.
