What happens to the water as the ice melts?
We can supply special trays to hire/buy or for free depending on the order, but if you are using a hotel venue or caterers, they should be able to provide a suitable deep catering container/dish. For large private functions we can supply floor protection. The sculptures take time to de-frost anything from 2 to 6 hours depending on the size of sculpture and temperature of the venue. The amount of water from the de-frosting sculpture is not as much as people think it will be, as the density of the ice causes a very gradual thaw. The fine detail will be lost after a couple of hours but the main sculpture/shape will last for a number of hours longer.
