What happens to the UB Groups existing brands in the wine segment?
The UB Group’s existing two wine brands Golconda and Bosca in the mass segment will continue to retain their identity. These are in the cheaper range and will not come under United Vintners umbrella. A new facility will see manpower induction. What would be the hiring plans for the United Vintners? By September 2007 we hope to have 75 people, which will include sales, marketing and administration posts. Wherever there is a requirement of specialist positions, we will hire them. In the areas of distribution and marketing we would either utilise the existing work force or even look out for people.
