What happens to the trapped animal?
Relocation of captured animals adds to the stress of being in an unfamiliar territory, increases the potential for transmission of infectious diseases and increases conflict between the animal and its environment. Per the Division of Wildlife, animals need to be released within a 10 mile area of where it was trapped with the permission of the land owner and the Division of Wildlife. Because this is difficult to obtain our animals are humanly euthanasia.
