Recyclable material is taken to the Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) at Elstow where it is separated for reprocessing. You can visit the MRF on one of its open days or on specially organised guided tours. Shanks regularly host educational visits and some school children in the area may have already visited this fascinating site.
