A property that does not sell at the Tax Deed Sale is placed on the “List of Lands Available for Taxes.” After 90 (ninety) days from the sale date, anyone can purchase property off the “List of Lands Available for Taxes.” This applies only if it is a Hernando County held Certificate. If not a Hernando County held Certificate, and there are no bids, it is sold to Applicant/Certificate holder.
