What happens to the “profit” WRI makes from the sale of goods?
Income from sales and donations go into WRI’s general operating budget. Conference registration fees are generally used to cover the basic costs associated with the event, including housing, food, and interepretation. In some cases, registration fees are used to cross-subsidise the participation of WRI activists from countries with weak economies and/or currencies.
