What happens to the hiring pool at the end of the calendar year?
The hiring pool expires at the end of the calendar year for which it has been created. For example, candidates who apply in 2009 and are successful are placed in a hiring pool that is active from January 1, 2010 until December 31, 2010. The hiring pools for 2011 will be populated by candidates who apply in 2010.
