Suction line blocked – pump vacuum reading will be high – pump discharge reading will go to zero. Discharge line is blocked – pump pressure reading will spike up quickly and pump impeller may still turn but there is no flow. – pump vacuum reading will go to zero. Burst/disconnected discharge hose/pipeline – suction vacuum high, discharge pressure low.
