A5. Once you have completed and sent your EA submission (for the Draft Guidelines or the Draft EA Report) to CNSC personnel, your comments are part of the public record. CNSC personnel will thoroughly review all submissions. Comments are summarized and placed into a table, along with a note explaining how they were addressed in the Draft Guidelines or Draft EA Report. CSNC looks forward to stakeholder comments to enhance the quality of the EA process. Community and Aboriginal traditional knowledge make a difference in an EA by helping to identify elements that are important to some groups or that may have been overlooked. Both the Draft Guidelines and the Draft EA Report, including all comments received through public participation events and comment periods, are presented for consideration and approval at a CNSC Commission Tribunal hearing.
