What happens to my purchased features if I have made a firmware software update (“firmware reflash”) of my mobile device?
Your Navigation license is tied to your mobile device, i.e. it is mobile device specific and cannot be transferred to another mobile device. Please keep this in mind when purchasing the navigation license and select the length that best suits your needs. The options are 1 week, 1 month, 1 year and 3 years. If you update the firmware software (or perform a hard reboot) of your mobile device during the validity of your navigation license, you can manually update the license via Options > Extra Services > Add navigation. Choose the region for which you purchased the navigation license and go to Options > Update. Please allow the connection to the license server to check the purchase & license options by selecting Yes and by then selecting the proper Internet access point (if asked). A note xxx-day license activated is shown where xxx is the amount of days left of your license or alternatively the mobile device informs you that the license is updated.
