What happens to my garbage and recycling pick up day because of a statutory holiday?

For residential garbage and recycling pick up, your collection day moves forward one weekday for each statutory holiday (i.e. if your pick up day is Friday and it is a holiday, your collection day will move to Monday, etc.) For commercial garbage and recycling pick up, your collection day does not change unless you are notified directly.
