Some types of financial aid can be credited to your account even though you may not be enrolled in 12 or more units. To be eligible to receive loan funds, you must be enrolled at least half-time, which means 6 units for undergraduate students and 4 units for graduate students. Grant funds (Pell, SEOG, Cal Grant and State University Grant) will not be credited to your account unless you are enrolled in 12 or more units by the end of the initial registration period. If you are not registered in 12 or more units at that time, your funds will be determined by the number of units in which you are enrolled during the add/drop period and will be credited to your account at that time.
