What happens to my eID when I leave K-State?
You can keep your K-State eID as long as you like, with some limitations: • Your eID will lose access to resources that are reserved for current students and employees. This includes your central e-mailbox (and WebMail), your personal webpage, your files on the central Unix system, and any employment information. If you want that data, copy your files and e-mail messages to CD/DVD or another computer system. • You will continue to have access to KATS, and to your eProfile page for setting e-mail forwarding and changing your password. • If you have e-mail forwarding turned on, your eID will be considered active. Any mail received at your e-mail address will be forwarded wherever you specify. And you can change the e-mail forwarding at any time. • If you don’t have e-mail forwarding turned on and you haven’t used your eID for five years — meaning you haven’t signed in on the eid.k-state.edu site or changed your password for five years — then your eID will be released and become availab
