What happens to my documents if I decide not to renew my subscription with MyFamilyDocuments or if my account is closed?
If your MyFamilyDocuments subscription is canceled or your account is closed, MyFamilyDocuments will promptly send you a CD that includes all files stored on your account. Your Personal Data and other information may be retained in our archive or backup records. Federal and state regulations require that we maintain all information (including your personal information) submitted through the MyFamilyDocuments website for various time periods. In order to comply with these regulations, we cannot delete your information from our database.
