Every report is analyzed by staff members in NCMEC’s Exploited Children Division and is provided to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force agencies, the U.S. Secret Service, the U.S. Department of Justice’s Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section, and state and/or local law enforcement when such jurisdiction can be determined. Each of the agencies can review the reports and determine if further action is needed.
