What happens to my Bank of America credit card when I’m receiving benefits?

You will still be able to use your Bank of America credit card while you are receiving benefits, up to your credit limit and subject to the terms in the Cardholder Agreement. However, charges added to your account after your date of loss will not be included in the calculation of your Cardholder Security Plan Monthly Benefit Amount. While the benefit request is pending, you must continue to pay at least the minimum payment due on your protected account. Benefits paid will be retroactive to the date of your loss. If the benefit amount is less than the monthly minimum amount due on your protected account statement, payment of the excess minimum monthly amount due will be your responsibility.
