What happens to my addressbooks on unix.mail?

Your addressbooks are likely a part of your email program. If you use Pine or an IMAP/POP program like Thunderbird, Outlook or Mail for Macintosh, you will not have to make any changes to your addressbooks. If you use Mush, elm or upenelm, then moving your addressbook will be a task you must do: these older programs are not in standard addressbook format and so must be moved manually. Moving single entries in addressbooks can be done with some manipulation of a copy of the source addressbook, moving group entries is often more problematic.
