What happens to MEOs already implemented?
The MEO (Most Efficient Organization) refers to the Government’s in-house organization performing a commercial activity. The Navy policy is that all commercial activities will be (re)competed at the end of their period of performance. These competitions are integrated into the command’s long-range competition planning. Existing MEOs and other contracts will be evaluated by the preliminary planning team, who will make recommendations on how to address them.
