Andy married Jo when he was in prison. After months of physical abuse to her she left andy and his daughter sarah. She has not yet returned to the soap. Sarah is now being looked after by Debbie Dingle who was given custody of Sarah a few weeks ago after Andy agreed to give Sarah to her.
