What happens to existing work permits when tier 2 comes into force?

0

Work permits issued before the launch of tier 2 on 27 November 2008 will remain valid for entry to the UK for six months after the date of issue and will therefore remain valid after the launch of tiers 2 and 5. Any applications for a work permit received after the launch date of tier 2 will be returned and employers will need to issue a CoS for the migrant.
