What happens to community programs and project funding that 2010 Legacies Now already has in place?
The community programs are being reviewed by our internal teams and with our existing partners to determine the types of transition options and accompanying timeframes that make sense. Some of the options for our community programs include sunsetting the program; moving it to one of our trusted partners; or continuing to operate it as part of the new organization. Our partners are an important resource and will be engaged as we work through this planning and implementation. A few of our project funding programs have been completed as originally planned, such as arts funding through Catalyst and Innovations. As the full investment has been made in these areas, this funding will not continue. Other project funding may continue or be reviewed at a future date.
