What happens to attachments? Is there a limit on size or type?

For domain filtering there is no limit on size. For individual mailboxes at raymondsafe.com, we limit attachments to 5mb. We do screen attachments for viruses and block the entire message, if infected. As for other attachments, we do quarantine certain extensions. (Please see the Users manual for this restriction).
