What happens to an employee’s FSA funds if they go from GE Health Choice to GE Global Health Plan?
A. If an employee cancels their GE Health Choice coverage, they will lose their FSA funds. However, the employee will be able to submit claims up to the effective term date of their plan enrollment. This applies if the employee is switching to GE Health Choice or switching to GE Global Health Plan. The employee can only have one tax treatment per year.
