School at post education allowance terminates without financial penalty, per DSSR 621.2(d)(1). School away from post education allowance may continue until the end of the school year, per DSSR 621.2(d)(2). Employees should check their earnings and leave statements for differential and allowance payments that should have been terminated. The employee is responsible for refunding any overpayments. (Refer to DSSR 532e. for termination of post differential in those cases when the employee is away from post on detail or leave and his or her departure from post is ordered.
