What happens to a JES SYSOUT that can be processed for some reason?
It depends on what you want done. The program can delete the SYSOUT from the queue, it can be placed on Dataset Hold, System Hold, or simply be requeued to a different output class so that it won’t be reselected. In all cases, messages are sent to the master console, and with TSO notification a message is sent back to the TSO user that submitted the original SYSOUT job.
